Commissions & pricing

I set my prices based on the time, effort, skill and material costs involved in their creation. Please see each individual product listing for details and pricing.

All prices are listed in Canadian dollars ($CAD).

Base prices

These are my base prices for one animal on one canvas. I can add more animals to a painting for an additional charge of $100 per animal. If a piece has more detail (like realistic horns or antlers, or more detail in the background), the price may increase beyond the base amounts you see here.

I updated my pricing in early 2026 to reflect the increased cost of materials, the evolution of my skill and the growing demand for my work. If we already talked about a project and I provided a quote, you’re all set at that price. New pricing applies to new projects.

Thank you so much for your understanding and support.

Commissioning a custom piece

I’m happy to work with you on your custom paint or ceramic project. Starting prices are based on canvas size and may increase based on project complexity. Please take a look at my commission agreement for contract terms and conditions.

Framing

I finish the edge of all canvases by wrapping the image around the sides. As a result, my pieces are ready to hang just as they are. If you’d like to level up with a wooden shadow frame, I’m happy to help find the perfect one to compliment your piece.

I haven artist a partnership with Rustic Burl & Co.—a Canadian supplier of shadow frames for canvases of all sizes. Frames can come with your choice of finish. If you would like to add a frame to your canvas, I can help with partnership pricing and include the frame with your order. Frames require an additional 4-6 weeks for delivery.

Shipping

All pieces are available for local pickup in St. Albert, Alberta. I can do local delivery in the greater Edmonton area for a small fee but the maximum size I can safely deliver is 36”x48”. Anything larger requires pickup or courier collection.

My prices do not include shipping. I can ship most pieces internationally but the buyer is responsible for all shipping, customs and import fees.

While you can choose to add insurance to your shipping cost, most shipping services will not insure the full value of original art, even if insurance is purchased from the carrier at the time of shipping. If you would like to insure a painting for its journey, independent art insurance vendor services are available at your discretion (e.g., Conserv, Chubb, AXA, Gallagher and HUB).

All international shipments will include a Canadian certificate of origin and a commercial invoice reflecting the full purchase price. As tariff rules can change quickly, please ensure you’re aware of and comfortable with any potential buyer import fees for your country.
